PD58 Implementation And Assessment Of A Lung Cancer Screening Pilot Project In Québec Through Multi-Stakeholder Collaboration

Introduction In 2019, the Québec provincial health technology assessment body (INESSS) recommended that lung cancer screening with low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) be accessible in only within context of an evaluation ‘real-world’ care setting. Based on this recommendation, ministry (MSSS) decided, 2020, to implement a pilot project and conduct formal evaluation, partnering clinical leader (principal investigator), participating hospitals, public agency (INSPQ) INESSS. The goal is facilitate decision-making regarding implementation province-wide program. Methods To support project, algorithms recommendations were developed guide management program participants. This material, based Lung-RADS (Lung Computed Tomography Screening Reporting Data System American College Radiology), was by reviewing literature consulting experts. plan proposes various indicators, focusing six main topics: (i) costs, (ii) investigation processes, (iii) effectiveness other effects health, (iv) smoking cessation, (v) organizational impact (vi) issues.
